Being a part of Believers at LSU is nothing short of God’s full grace and mercy in my life! As a member of the club since my freshman year, I can honestly say its impact on my life has been tremendous every year. Small things like helping me get moved in to my dorm freshman year or inviting me over to do laundry and study, the members of the club and its supporting community have poured out their hearts in care for me. Meeting weekly with other believers to study the Word, praying in the mornings with other sisters, and many open homes for delicious food and rich fellowship are just a few things that the Lord has blessed me with to sustain me through tumultuous college years. In the club, God’s love and care is fully testified and manifested on Earth. Everyone here is so eager to guide me to the Lord, to reel me back in when I get distracted, or to help me navigate my way through the riches of the Bible in order to know the true and living God in a real and substantiated way. I have found that being with other believers is such a strong way to go on in the Lord and grow in God. We can depend on each other, and we know each one’s pressing on in the Lord is vital for the endurance and growth in life of all the members!
