| A Visit from San Diego |

Believers At LSU was happy to host a vist from a fellow group of believers from San Diego, CA. During their Spring Break 2008, about 17 college students and sponsors traveled to Baton Rouge to fellowship together and to experience the mutual building up of the Body of Christ. For most, this was their first trip to the South in general and to Louisiana in particular.
Their trip had a two-fold purpose; to enjoy the Lord in fellowship with other young college students and to experience a part of the country very unlike the area from which they came. As seen in the pictures below, we believe that both of these goals were met.
First these student joined with members of Believers at LSU to man a table outside the LSU Union where free study Bibles were being given away. You can see from the two pictures that the number of available Bibles was quickly depleted. Following their time on campus, a little area sight seeing was culminated with a crawfish boil at the home of one of the club's many community supporters.
We hope that Believers at LSU can one day make a reciprocal visit to Southern California and UCSD. |
